Job Description
Our client is a Japanese trust bank with a global presence through a worldwide network of branches and subsidiaries in Asia, Europe, and the United States. They are looking for a Senior Officer / Assistant Manager for the General Affairs and Planning department. The incumbent will be reporting to the Chief Manager.
【 Responsibilities 】
■Assist in full spectrum of human resource function include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the daily HR administrations and operational works
- Maintain, update and make recommendation to Company’s HR policies and procedures (e.g. Staff Handbook)
- Prepare monthly and yearly budget costing for Planning Group to be reported to our Japan Head Office
- Ensure accuracy and timely processing of Payroll matters including timely submission of CPF, Income Tax to all relevant government entities
- Prepare HR/Payroll information to management/BUs on a need to basis
- Handle Human Resource and payroll audit
- Coordinate and implement HR/Admin projects in the department e.g. automation HR processes, digitalization and transformation to enhance the current workflow as assigned by the Chief Manager
- Conduct market trend analysis and updates for compensation
- Handle MAS, MOM, CPF, etc. reports and surveys
- Work with Accounts Group to ensure accuracy in the annual leave accrual exercise, headcount reports, etc.
- Local and Expatriates’ Income tax matters
- Processing of Employment letter, work pass application, renewal and cancellation, etc.
- Maintain and update job descriptions and job requirements
- Assist in arrangement of interviews during the recruitment process
- Training & Development for employees
- Handle Staff Enquiries
- Prepare and Conduct new employee induction program
- Outsourcing related matters
- Perform other and ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Chief Manager
■Assist in full spectrum of administrative function include but are not limited to:
- Efficient in managing General Manager’s calendar such as appointments and meetings
- Attend to telephone and fax in a timely manner
- Perform other and ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Chief Manager

<Must>
- Diploma in HR Management or related studies with minimally 2 years of relevant experience
- Team player with good written and verbal communication skills to communicate with staff at all levels
- Understand current and emerging HR process and practices
- Good knowledge of current employment legislation
<Preference>
- Budgeting experience
- Experience with policy writing
- Strong problem-solving skill, independent and ability to provide sound and credible advice
- Good time management and multi-taskingEnglish Level
