Job Description
Our client, a well-established bakery located in the Orchard area, is seeking an HR Assistant Manager. This role reports to the Area Manager and the Head of Overseas Administration based in Japan.
【What you will be working on】
- Oversee HR functions including labor management, payroll, employment contracts, and staff attendance.
- Manage labor relations, acting as the communication bridge between local staff and Japanese managers.
- Ensure compliance with MOM regulations to maintain a positive working environment.
- Regularly visit the bakery to assess and improve the workplace environment.
- Manage HR operations; payroll functions are outsourced but will require oversight.
- Liaise with Japan HQ and support colleagues as needed.
- Handle additional tasks as assigned.

Requirement

(Must)
- 2-3 years of relevant HR & Admin experience in the F&B sector.
- Fluent in Mandarin and Japanese (JLPT N2 or above) for translation, interpretation, and liaising with stakeholders.
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
(Preferable)
- Outgoing, friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills.English Level
