• Job Description

  Our client, the first established insurance company in Japan, is seeking an Assistant Executive (Marine Claims) to join their team.
  
  【What will you be working on】
  - Liaise effectively with policyholders, intermediaries, investigators, surveyors, adjusters, lawyers, third-party claimants, and group companies.
  - Train and guide assistants in their support roles.
  - Manage and process claims efficiently, professionally, and fairly within established service benchmarks and protocols.
  - Ensure reserves are provided or updated in a timely and accurate manner.
  - Add value to underwriters by advising on issues identified during claims handling, including gaps in policy wording and opportunities for risk improvement.
  - Conduct periodic reviews of files as needed.
  - Pursue and follow up on recovery claims regularly.
  - Compile monthly and quarterly statistics, as well as any additional data when required.
  - Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
