Job Description
Our Client is a new Japanese start-up specializing in B2B product purchasing platforms, trading, and wholesale operations. They are currently seeking an Assistant Sales Manager (Horeca) to join their growing team.
【 What you will be doing 】
- Meet sales goals and targets by effectively negotiating and addressing customer needs.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on prospects within the retail sector.
- Achieve sales targets, ensure a balanced product mix, and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure consistent service quality by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with major accounts to enhance brand awareness and drive profitable partnerships.
- Create and execute direct sales strategies to boost brand and SKU sales, especially in supermarkets and mini-markets.
- Lead sales expansion efforts, introduce new products or services, and organize client visits for both current and potential customers.
- Submit comprehensive sales plans and prepare action plans to meet assigned targets.
- Ensure timely collection of accounts receivable to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Manage and oversee the performance of the sales team, including merchandisers and promoters, to achieve sales objectives.
- Coordinate transportation arrangements to ensure products are efficiently and attractively placed on shelves in a timely manner.

- Minimum of 3 years' experience in HORECA sales, specifically within the food products sector.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience working in a start-up environment is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.English Level
