This role supports the expansion of nickel and battery metals trading activities across Asia & Oceania by assisting in both physical and derivatives trading under the guidance of senior traders. The incumbent will contribute to business growth by executing trades, supporting relationship management with key stakeholders, and strengthening trading capabilities through market analysis, exposure management, and disciplined execution. Division: Metals & MineralsDepartment: Metals & MineralsSection: Iron Ore & Battery Metals【Responsibilities】1) Trade Execution (Physical & Derivatives)- Support execution of physical nickel trades under senior trader supervision- Assist in futures and derivatives transactions for hedging and position management- Support pricing, structuring, and negotiation of contracts- Manage end-to-end trade lifecycle, including execution, documentation, and settlement2. Sales & Relationship Management- Support relationship management with customers, suppliers, and key industry stakeholders- Assist in executing trading strategies to expand market presence- Participate in commercial discussions and negotiations in line with business objectives3. Market Intelligence & Strategy- Monitor global nickel and battery metals markets (supply-demand, pricing, macro trends)- Identify trading opportunities based on market insights and inefficiencies- Support development of short- and mid-term trading strategies4.
