    Our client, a securities and wealth management firm, is expanding into the Japanese market in Singapore. They are looking for an Institutional Sales Executive, Japanese Speaking to support this growth. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients across the APAC region, driving business development, and implementing sales strategies.

    Reporting to the Head of Sales, the incumbent will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with institutional clients throughout the APAC region.

    【Responsibilities】
    - Responsible for execution of sales strategy, business development, and marketing of the company's solutions to the targeted clients.
    - Drive the process from originating new client opportunities and ensuring smooth rollout to successful commercialization.
    - Build effective relationships with the clients to develop revenue opportunities and deliver a high quality of service.
    - Source and establish contact with prospects through referrals from existing clients and your internal relationships with other channels.
    - Work and coordinate with various departments such as IT, Dealing and Operation to service clients’ needs.
    - Work with the Risk Management team to manage clients’ margin requirements and maintenance while observing risk exposure with close monitoring.
    - Participate in the company’s marketing activities and work on a team level to identify new opportunities.
    - Provide feedback on customer demand and make recommendations to drive product innovation.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【Requirements & Preferences】

    (Must)
    - Degree holder in relevant majors.
    - Minimum 2 years relevant experience with institutional clients or institutional sales experience preferred.
    - Proficiency in English and Japanese (JLPT N1) in speaking, listening and writing is essential for liaising with Japanese clients.
    - Possess a good track record in sales and customer acquisition experience.
    - Understanding of the commodities markets, derivatives instruments, and risk management principles.

    (Advantageous)
    - Possess locally required licenses.
