    Our client is a local accounting firm focused on servicing the Japanese business community in Singapore. Their clientele comprises mainly Japanese entities in various industries such as trading, manufacturing, shipping, construction and investments. With a commitment to excellence, they set up a Japan Desk to ensure our client’s needs are effectively and promptly served with one-stop service solutions.

    They are currently seeking to hire an Audit Senior (Japanese-Speaking) to join their team and contribute to their continued success.

    【Responsibilities】
    - Communicate with Japanese clients and their headquarters.
    - Manage audit engagement which includes planning, analysis of controls and processes, preparation and review of audit documentation and management letters.
    - Monitor engagement progress against budget and timeline.
    - Develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
    - Coach and develop team members to achieve technical competencies.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【Requirements & Preferences】
    <Must>
    - Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CA or equivalent.
    - Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the audit or accounting industry.
    - Fluent in English and Japanese Language (JLPT N1) to liaise with English and Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
    - Proficient in MS Office applications.
    - Good oral and written communication skills.
    - Familiar with the Singapore regulatory and reporting environment

    <Advantageous>
    - Experience working with Japanese companies.
