  • Job Description

    Our client is a trading company in Singapore. As a Logistics Manager, you will coordinate suppliers and customers on a day-to-day basis, handle shipping documents, and ensure the smooth flow of goods and payments.

    Reporting to: Senior Manager

    【Responsibilities】
    - Manage sales contracts, including drafting, signing, and archiving.
    - Coordinate shipments with suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery.
    - Handle shipping documentation, including LC presentations, Bill of Lading, Certificates of Origin, and other essential documents (e.g., invoices, Certificates of Analysis, and Weight).
    - Process invoicing and ensure timely collection of funds in accordance with contractual payment terms (L/C, prepayment, CAD).
    - Liaise with freight forwarders, agents, and other external stakeholders to resolve shipping-related issues.
    - Prepare daily reports, shipping, and exposure lists for internal use.
    - Ensure cargo insurance is in place as per Incoterms, and handle any related claims or adjustments.
    - Maintain accurate records in the internal SAP system and ensure compliance with KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements.
    - Archive and maintain all relevant documentation in an organized manner.

Qualifications

    【Requirements & Preferences】
    (Must)
    - Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    - At least 5 years of experience in logistics management within import/export in the trading environment.
    - Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
    - Strong understanding and experience of shipping documentation, including Bill of Lading, Letters of Credit, and Incoterms.
    - Knowledge of international logistics and customs regulations.
    - Familiarity with freight forwarding and external agent coordination.
    - Independent, quick-thinker, and able to work under pressure

    (Advantageous)
    - Experience handling demurrage/dispatch settlements and laytime calculations is preferred.
    - Understanding of cargo insurance procedures.
