Job Description
Our client is a global FMCG company for baby & maternity products. You will be responsible for the product design and product development lifecycle.Reporting to: R&D Manager.【 Responsibilities 】- Lead the product development lifecycle, transforming creative concepts into market-ready products from initial design to final production- Source OEM strategically and new products from international partners, evaluating and selecting suppliers while ensuring adherence to company quality standards- Collaborate closely with Product Designers, Engineers, Product Managers, QA/QC, and Marketing teams to define, develop, and validate mechanical design intent- Conduct in-depth engineering research to resolve design challenges, optimize product structures, select appropriate materials, and define specifications to meet performance and cost objectives- Perform tolerance analysis, risk assessments, and engineering validation, implementing technological advancements to enhance cost efficiency- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including product specifications, evaluation reports, and cost analysis, to support seamless mass production- Work alongside manufacturing partners to ensure feasibility, quality compliance, and efficient production processes- Demonstrate expertise in molding processes, including injection molding, compression molding, and liquid silicone rubber (LSR) molding, with a strong understanding of design for manufacturing (DFM) principles
