Job Description
Our client is a Japanese IT consulting firm and currently hiring a Senior Consultant. They are rapidly expanding with many new opportunities and projects from banking.
【 What you will be doing 】
- Provide strategic advice and guidance to ensure successful delivery of high-impact projects within the bank.
- Lead and support the development and implementation of project management processes, frameworks, and best practices across multiple business units.
- Oversee project portfolio management, ensuring all projects align with business priorities and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Coordinate effectively between the Tokyo Head Office and APAC branches, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across regions.
- Facilitate coordination between five working groups at the regional level, all located in the client’s Singapore Branch, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Proactively manage risks, ensuring that both anticipated and emerging risks are addressed promptly and continuously throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide timely and effective problem-solving support to overcome obstacles and keep projects on track.
- Prepare and present detailed project plans, status reports, and risk management documentation to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Maintain thorough documentation of discussions, decisions, and reports, ensuring all project-related information is accurately recorded and easily accessible.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project charters, schedules, and reports.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and reviews to drive alignment, progress, and decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve project outcomes.

Requirement

(Must)
- Bachelor's degree and above
-Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a Project Management Office (PMO) role, with a focus on risk and problem management.
- Proficient in Japanese language in order to liaise with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and clients.
- Good communication skills in English (both spoken and written)
- Experience working in a consulting firm is a must.
- Experience managing multiple projects or coordinating across various systems/branches simultaneously.
- Strong logical thinking, with the ability to effectively document and communicate complex information.
(Advantageous)
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and GigaCC is a plus.
