  • Job Description

    Our client is a renowned company in Japan specializing in the development, manufacturing, sales, marketing, and servicing of information-related equipment, electronic devices, and precision products.

    Reporting to: General Manager (GM)

    【Responsibilities】
    -Assist GM to materialize business strategy by carrying out effective planning on the entire business management
    -Identify Plating Industry business and market trends, new developments, and finances to meet business KPI
    -Utilize data analytics and conduct thorough market analysis, competitive landscape, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities and threats.
    -Develop and implement effective accounting management in fixed and variable cost, investment and budgeting strategies to support the company's financial goals
    -Establish mid & long-term business strategy based on financial data and business forecasting including budget preparation and kick-off meeting presentation
    -Oversee the preparation of detailed financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to aid decision-making
    -Manage monthly expenses/marginal profit and business profit results to enhance organizational effectiveness and transform them into actionable insights and result-oriented
    -Provide regular updates on business performance against targets, expert advice, and guidance to the Plating's top management team & Japan HQ management
    -Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
    -Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial strategies with the overall business strategy
    -Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
    -Any other ad hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【Requirements & Preferences】

    (Must)
    -Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA)
    -10 years of management accounting or budgeting experience within the Manufacturing industry
    -At least 3 years of management experience including successfully managing and leading a team
    -Minimum 5 years of related working experience in Finance/Budget/Forecast Planning/month-end closing/Bad debt reporting
    -Comfortable with Business Development (BD) activities
    -Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
    -Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking abilities to align financial strategies with business objectives
    -Proficient in the use of accounting systems, Microsoft Office, and data analysis tools
    -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with key stakeholders and internal and external parties
    -This role is crucial and requires the ability to join within short notice or 1 month

    (Advantageous)
    -Experience working in a company that manufactures electronic components or plating business will be prioritized
    -Experience working in a Japanese company is advantageous!
