  • Job Description

    Our client is a reputable Japanese ship management company in the shipping industry. They are currently looking for a Procurement Executive (Ship Manager) to join their team.

    Reporting To: Technical Super Intendant

    【Responsibilities】
    - Supporting the vessel manager in purchasing spare parts & consumables for ships
    - Responsible for document control (e.g. maintaining a list of periodic reporting due from the vessel)
    - Keeping record of the technical operating costs, Verification of Invoices and DAs
    - Arranging and coordinating logistics for supplies and service arrangements for ship
    - Assist in arranging routine vessel repairs
    - Assist the Technical Superintendent with the daily operations of the vessels

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【Requirements & Preferences】
    <Must>
    - At least a Diploma in any field.
    - Minimum 3 years of experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent, or similar role in Marine Industry.
    (Ship management, ship-owning company, or purchase department with vessel international voyages in the Marine/Shipping industry.)

    <Advantageous>
    - Able to join with short notice.
