    Our client, a Japanese company specializing in maintenance services for chemical plants, refineries, and petrochemical factories, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager/Manager (Plant Inspection) to oversee plant engineering, quality control, and sales operations.

    【Responsibilities】

    1) Engineering
    - Conduct inspections of pressure vessels at client sites, ensuring compliance with international codes and standards.
    - Generate inspection reports.
    - Review and verify inspection reports prepared by engineers.
    - Compile and submit evaluation reports on engineers’ performance.

    2) Quality Control
    - Assist the Quality Manager in ensuring compliance with ISO17020 and SAC inspection body requirements.

    3) Administration & Sales
    - Oversee and review employee work journals.
    - Prepare quotations for site jobs and projects.
    - Plan staff movements and manage leave records.
    - Review internal administrative documents and provide feedback to management.
    - Analyze project budgets and provide cost analysis reports to management.
    - Develop sales strategies and explore new business markets.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【 Requirements & Preferences 】
    <Must>
    - At least a Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
    - A minimum of 10 years of plant maintenance or inspection experience in petrochemical factories/plants, including experience in NDT (non-destructive testing) and visual inspections.
    - More than 5 years of site management experience in construction and/or project sites within the oil and gas industry.
    - Possess API 510, 570, and 653 certificates.
    - Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as required.
    - Flexibility to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays if required (though the frequency is low).

    <Advantageous>
    - Possession of a Class 3 driving license.
    - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook).
