  • Job Description

    Our client, a prominent Japanese food trading company specializing in seafood imports, is seeking a Sales Executive - Fresh Food to drive new business development, particularly within the local market. This position reports directly to the General Manager.

    【 What you will be doing 】
    - Manage existing clients and develop new businesses (cold calls based on client lists, client visits, and product proposals).
    - Promote and sell fresh, chilled, and processed seafood products to local supermarkets, hotels, and other key accounts.
    - Collaborate with internal teams to monitor inventory levels and ensure product availability.
    - Maximize sales by analyzing product performance, market channels, and customer trends.
    - Occasionally travel overseas, primarily to factories in Vietnam and Myanmar (1-2 times per year), to support business operations.
    - Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager.

    - Minimum Diploma holder
    - Inexperienced junior candidates who are flexible and eager to kick start a sales career at a fast-paced growing company are welcome to apply!
    - Possess a high interest in Japan, like Japanese food and Japanese culture.
    - Good communication skills to propose products to new clients, and be able to respond quickly.
    - Be willing to report appropriately and escalate when trouble arises.
    - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc.) and computer literacy in preparing manuals, documents etc.
    - Have a driver's licence, or be willing to obtain one soon.
    - Good command of English to communicate with HQ and other branch members.
    - Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.

    <Preferable>
    - A stable career background (at least 2 years of experience in the same company, if applicable)
    - Experience as a B2B salesperson in a trading company or food manufacturing/wholesale trading.
    - Possess working experience in a Japanese company and understand its culture.
