  • Job Description

    Our client is a global Japanese company, that is a market leader for glass products in ASEAN. They are looking for a Facade Engineer to design, document, coordinate, and comply with project constraints undertaken for the Facade.

    Division: Smart Glass Division
    Reporting to: Executive Director

    【Responsibilities】
    - Perform conceptualization and design of facades, preparation of drawings, and structural calculations
    - Prepare and deliver the technical presentations
    - Liaise and coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, façade contractors, suppliers, and other project team members daily
    - Supervise the construction, site inspection, and training of constructors
    - Prepare the technical submissions, proposals, and documentation

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【Requirements & Preferences】
    (Must)
    - Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
    - 3 years of experience in façade design, engineering and construction and project management
    - Proficient in CAD software
    - Strong communication in English and interpersonal skills
    - Well-versed in construction trends, international design standards, and building regulations.
    - Possesses a deep understanding of various façade materials.
    - Strong project management skills
    - Willing to travel frequently within the SEA region for business needs (1-2 times per month)

    (Advantageous)
    - 3D Modelling software - Revit, Rhino, and Sketchup software would be ideal
    - Skilled in interacting with people of diverse cultural backgrounds at various levels.
    - Possess a wide network of building professionals and property developers.
    - Strong and diverse technical background with effective presentation skills
