  Our client, a well-known Japanese trading company is currently looking for a Nickel Trade Support Executive. You will be in charge of suppliers and customers related to the nickel business globally, including shipping companies, brokers, and surveyors.
  
  Department: Metal and Mineral, under Nickel operations
  Reports to: Department General Manager
  
  【Responsibilities】
  Post-deal Physical (45%):
  - Assist in minor terms negotiations and coordination with external parties during Back Office’s(BO) commercial contract drafting.
  - Manage surveyor relationships, may visit ports and factories, assist in quality disputes solution supporting traders and BO.
  - Report to metal trader of pending post-deal unsettlements and miscellaneous."
  
  Post-deal Paper/Derivative (45%):
  - Position Monitoring: to share info or countercheck with Middle Office(MO) regarding hedging positions, timely updating overedged and underhedged shipments progressively."
  - Pricing Management: pricing confirmation issuance, QP matching and QP expiry alert, MtM margin monitoring and issuance of margin call, coordinating with external parties and BO regarding prices on invoices and funds collection.
  - Track and guide BO on the timing of FX hedging and transactions, by regular checking of receivables and payables with BO or external parties.
  - Be the backup of the trader and MO on their paper-related work.
  
  Market and logistics (10%):
  - Manage warehouse relationships, coordination on metal exchange deliveries, rental negotiations, warehousing agreement renewals, etc.
  - Manage research provider relationships, subscription, conference planning and negotiations; Gather market research summaries and brief internally.
  - Occasionally, check freight markets to understand price level (no chartering operations), and check warehouse stocks to understand metals S&D.
