    Our client, a Japanese engineering company specializing in the marine industry, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Service Engineer to join their team.

    Reporting to: Manager

    【 Responsibilities 】
    - Supervise overhaul operations of side thrusters on ships.
    - Provide technical advice and guidance to workers during operations.
    - Negotiate with ship supervisors and shipyards to ensure smooth operations.
    - Handle ship manoeuvring systems effectively.
    - Perform Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) tasks onboard ships.
    - Coordinate and provide support to team members for successful project execution.
    - Work occasional irregular hours (schedule provided in advance; OT allowance included).

资格

  • 应征条件

    【Requirement & Preferences 】

    (Must)
    - Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering or a related field.
    - At least 3 years of working experience as a Service Engineer in the Marine industry.
    - Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.
    - Willingness to work overtime as required.

    (Advantageous)
    - Experience in service engineering, particularly with container vessels and tankers.
    - Expertise in maintaining and repairing voyage ships, with a focus on the overhaul of side thrusters.
    - Knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic systems is highly desirable.
