  Our client, a leading chemical manufacturing company, is seeking an Executive/Senior Group Finance Executive (Japanese Speaking) to join their team. This role involves overseeing financial operations across Singapore and Southeast Asia, with a focus on performance analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
  
  You will be reporting to the General Manager, Finance.
  
  【What you will be doing】
  - Prepare and submit budgets, forecasts, and monthly performance reports for the Asia-Pacific business.
  - Analyze sales, costs, and capital efficiency (e.g., ROIC), and identify and address variances and issues.
  - Report findings to supervisors and management, and implement improvements.
  - Provide periodic updates to the head office in Japan.
  - Oversee financial operations for Singapore and Southeast Asia subsidiaries.
  - Conduct investment valuations using the Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) method.
  - Plan cash flow and manage transfer pricing.
  - Lead and train the finance team, and handle external inquiries (e.g., auditors, banks).
  - Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and lead initiatives for process improvement.
  - Address ad hoc financial tasks as required.
