    Our client is a Japanese manufacturer specializing in reliable ship valves, strainers, and marine parts. As their business and organization expand, they are seeking a Consulting Sales (Marine Parts) professional to manage and enhance relationships with existing accounts, while also driving growth through new customer acquisition. This role is crucial for understanding customer needs, proposing optimal solutions, and promoting the company’s products effectively.

    Reporting to: Sales Manager

    【 Responsibilities 】
    1) New Business Development and Deep Cultivation Sales:
    - Leverage the company’s extensive product track record with Japanese shipyards to target ship owners and ship management companies in Singapore, especially Japanese firms or those managing a significant number of Japan-built ships.
    - Propose replacements for existing products and competitors' valves to enhance ship operational efficiency and safety.

    2) Deepening Engagement with Key Customers:
    - Conduct thorough analyses of key customers’ needs and provide tailored solutions to address their challenges.
    - Promote further adoption of products and services, building strong, trust-based relationships to become a critical partner in their business operations.

    3) New Customer Acquisition:
    - Perform market research to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
    - Engage in sales activities to introduce the company’s products and secure new contracts.

    4) Onboard Ship Visits in Singapore:
    - Visit vessels at Singapore ports to address product-related issues, provide technical support, and conduct inspections.
    - Gather qualitative feedback from end-users to enhance products and services, ensuring improved customer satisfaction.

    5) Repair Work in Singapore:
    - Collaborate with a local repair partner to service products on customer vessels entering drydock.
    - Expand repair services to include valves from other manufacturers to strengthen customer trust and support business growth.

    6) Develop and Execute Sales Strategies:
    - Analyze customer needs and market trends to formulate effective sales strategies.
    - Provide customized proposals to maximize value for individual customers and meet sales targets.

    7) Achieve Sales Targets:
    - Implement and manage sales plans to achieve revenue goals.
    - Regularly report on sales activities and adjust strategies as needed to stay on track.

    8) Customer Support & Problem Solving:
    - Address customer inquiries and issues promptly after product installation, ensuring fast and effective solutions.
    - Focus on delivering excellent after-sales support to enhance customer satisfaction.

    9) Gathering Market Information:
    - Collect and analyze qualitative data from end-users in Singapore, a key maritime hub.
    - Provide feedback to the company to improve products and identify new business opportunities.

    - Minimum 3 years of BtoB sales experience.

    - Experience in Enterprise sales is welcome like IT solution sales.
