They are currently looking for a Procurement Executive (Ship Manager) to join their team.Reporting To: Technical Super Intendant【Responsibilities】- Supporting the vessel manager in purchasing spare parts & consumables for ships- Responsible for document control (e.g. maintaining a list of periodic reporting due from the vessel)- Keeping record of the technical operating costs, Verification of Invoices and DAs- Arranging and coordinating logistics for supplies and service arrangements for ship- Assist in arranging routine vessel repairs- Assist the Technical Superintendent with the daily operations of the vessels

Our client is a shipping company owning a fleet of modern bulk carriers. They are seeking a Bulk Carrier Operator (Ship Owner) to join the team! 【Responsibilities】- Lead daily operation of the vessels as ship-owners or bareboat charterers- Ensure the safe operation of vessels in cooperation with ship managers following industry regulations as well as in-house procedures- Ensure compliance with charter party requirements, company procedures, and all relevant operational information between vessels, brokers, Charterers, and agents.- Monitor and record all details of voyage performance including off-hire, stoppages and delays- Arrangement of bunkers at the designated port- Conduct loss prevention proactively- Negotiate claims, respond promptly and effectively, and proactively solve problems.- Assist and liaise with the Chartering team concerning vessel information, requirements, questionnaires, certification and scheduling as part of all pre and post-fixture support.- Check load/discharging port planning and discuss with ship managers in compliance with loading/discharging port requirements and monitor hold cleanliness requirements.- Arrange all routine invoicing- Handle disputes with Charterers by having the assistance of the defence club as appropriate- Have a sound knowledge of the charter parties, ship-management contract and other relevant contracts- Take care of charter hire payments and final settlement when time-charter is completed- Go through ship managers’ management and accounting reports- Conduct briefing with 4 officers/engineers- Choose a drydocking place in coordination with ship managers by considering various factors such as estimated deviation expenses, total drydocking expenses, duration, etc.- Optimize utilization of resources- Propose workflow improvements to improve efficiency- Attend meetings, seminars, and conferences to represent the company- Perform additional duties as assigned
