Our client, a Japanese company specializing in the sales and maintenance of electric power machinery, control panels, and surveillance monitors for the marine industry, is seeking an Electrical Engineer. The role involves working onboard ships, at shipyards, and port terminals to provide technical services, including investigations, repairs, and inspections of switchgear and control panels for vessels.This position reports to the Service Manager.【Responsibilities】1) Onboard Duties:- Inspect and calibrate equipment.- Perform repairs, installations, and modifications.- Prepare and deliver work reports to customers.- Oversee commissioning and attend sea trials.- Provide technical guidance and support for products.2) Office Duties:- Plan work, including manpower allocation, schedules, and material preparation.- Coordinate with engineers, including subcontractors.- Prepare tools and materials for assignments.- Create post-work documentation.- Offer technical advice for inquiries.Additional Information: - Primary serviced products: switchgear and control panels for vessels.- Work locations: shipyards, port terminals, and onboard vessels at sea.- Flexibility in working hours is required for the role.
