    Our client, a Japanese manufacturing company, is seeking a Sales Engineer (1-Year Contract, Convertible to Permanent) who is responsible for driving business development, coordinating projects, providing technical support, and managing after-sales service.

    This position reports directly to the Sales Director and Sales Manager.

    【 Responsibilities 】
    - Business Development: Discover and seek new business prospects, such as prospecting, generating leads, and developing relationships with potential clients.
    - Negotiating Distributorships/Dealerships: Look into and negotiate relationships with other manufacturers to extend the company's product portfolio through distributorships or dealerships.
    - Project Coordination: Manage projects from first contact to delivery, ensuring that customer needs are met.
    - Sales Support: Respond to technical inquiries, provide product and solution information, assist with customer bids and proposals, and provide post-sale support.
    - Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with the technical and project management teams to provide customized solutions that match the needs of the customer.
    - Tender Opportunities. Sourcing: Identify and actively pursue tender possibilities in relevant markets.
    - Sales Analysis: Examine sales performance, track market trends, and recommend changes to sales methods.
    - Customer Deliveries (as needed): Coordinate and ensure timely delivery of automation solutions, which may include on-site visits or logistical support.
    - Any additional ad-hoc duties assigned by management from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【 Requirements & Preferences 】

    (Must)
    - Possess a Diploma in Sales & Marketing or equivalent with 2 years of working experience.
    - At least 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or technical project coordination.
    - Strong technical acumen with the ability to quickly grasp new technologies.
    - Negotiation experience, ideally in securing distributorships or dealership agreements.
    - Possess a valid driver’s license for potential business travel or product deliveries.

    (Advantageous)
    - Experience in selling technical products or services, especially in automation, control systems, or engineering solutions, is a plus.
