• Job Description

  Our client is a Japanese shipping company specializing in liquid bulk cargo transportation, including petrochemicals. This Sales Coordinator (Japanese Speaking) role focuses on assisting with sales operations and coordinating smooth cargo transportation.
  
  You will be reporting to the Director.
  
  【 Responsibilities 】
  - Confirm details regarding the cargo, including departure and arrival ports, and available loading space, and adjust shipping routes and vessels accordingly.
  - Based on the cargo type, volume, and departure dates, arrange appropriate vessels and coordinate with clients.
  - Communicate with clients (shippers), shipping companies, and port authorities to adjust schedules and cargo status, ensuring smooth transportation of liquid cargo such as petrochemicals.
  - Communicate with clients to create transportation quotations and confirm service details based on transport contracts.
  - Based on received quotations, process necessary internal procedures, data entry, and manage progress within the team.
  - Respond to customer inquiries related to cargo loading status, schedules, pricing, and transport conditions.
  - Handle any issues related to cargo loading promptly and provide solutions.
  - Explain services to new clients, and coordinate toward contract agreements.
  - Create necessary documents (B/L, invoices, packing lists, etc.) using a PC.
  - Input cargo details, customer information, and shipping data into the system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for smooth transport.
  - Prepare transportation progress reports and submit them to sales personnel and managers.
