    Our client, a listed Japanese firm offering audit, tax, legal, and consulting services, is currently seeking a Consultant (Senior to Assistant Manager level) to join their Strategy Unit team.

    【 What you will be doing 】
    - Market research, Market entry & business development, strategic planning-related consulting
    - Business Due Diligence, Joint venture, business partnership-related support consulting
    - Turnaround & Restructuring consulting, corporate governance consulting
    - Conduct market & industry research, competitive analysis research, and regulatory research in related industries according to the client’s requirement, including secondary research and primary research (expert interviews, player interviews, surveys, etc)
    - Conduct financial and business analysis of client’s company as necessary
    - Conduct analysis and formulate strategic recommendations based on the research and business analysis results to the client
    - Prepare and present a strong and convincing business case story and strategy recommendation to the client.
    - Write reports as deliverables to clients, mainly in Microsoft PowerPoint
    - Liaising with other team members (Japan, Thai, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, etc) for project execution
    - Other works required for project execution and deliverables to the client

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    <Must>
    - Bachelor's Degree
    - 3-5 years of experience in consulting firms, corporate planning, or business development roles. An accounting background is acceptable if the candidate lacks prior consulting experience.
    - Strong business acumen with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, capable of presenting solutions to complex problems in a logical and structured manner across various industries.
    - Proficiency in Japanese (N3 level or higher) in speaking, writing, and listening, essential for effective communication with Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
    - Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.

    <Advantageous>
    - An academic background in business fields such as accounting, finance, or marketing is preferred.
