    Our client provides services throughout the life cycle of a building or facility, from the planning stage to post-construction, in Japan. They are looking to dispatch someone to work in their subsidiary, a leading engineering company in Singapore that offers solutions in Facilities Management, Fire Safety and Security, Industrial Automation, and Home Automation Systems.

    They are seeking an Accounting & Finance Senior/Assistant Manager (Japanese Speaking) who can manage Post-Merger Integration (PMI) after Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A).

    【Responsibilities】
    - Manage the full set of accounts and supervise financial reporting processes.
    - Perform financial analysis to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
    - Oversee financial planning and ensure effective credit line management.
    - Manage cash flow and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
    - Review financial statements and analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
    - Oversee bookkeeping accounts managed by outsourced accountants and assist in annual audits.
    - Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports to Headquarters in Japan for consolidated accounting purposes.
    - Manage the company’s budget preparation and report on variances from the established budget, providing reasons for those variances.
    - Analyze financial performance against key business metrics.
    - Establish and maintain internal policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【Requirements & Preferences】
    <Must>
    - Diploma or Degree in Accounting & Finance, or equivalent business experience with strong accounting skills.
    - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting & Financial Management.
    - Proficiency in Japanese Language (JLPT N3 level) in listening, speaking, and writing, essential for liaising with Japan HQ.

    <Advantageous>
    - Experience and knowledge in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).
    - Experience and knowledge in Internal Controls/Internal Audit.
