  • Job Description

    Our client is a HK-listed metal trading company, looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to expand a new business unit in Singapore. This ideal incumbent has experience in supply chain management, and experience in reducing carbon emissions from the supply chain side.

    【 Responsibilites】
    - Lead the team to sustainable procurement
    - Monitor and control supply chain management
    - Demonstrate continuous efforts to reduce carbon emissions from the supply chain
    - Develop procurement strategies and reach cost-effectiveness
    - Maintain interface with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the materials comply with standards and procedures
    - Evaluate purchase requisitions for compliance with established business controls, including contract terms, risk assessment, pricing, and supplier selection, and take appropriate actions to ensure the required level of business control is met
    - Ensure purchasing activities are aligned to corporate compliance.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【 What they are looking for 】

    (Must)
    - Minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, or business-related disciplines.
    - At least 5 years of managerial experience in Procurement with a sizable organization. (within a similar industry is preferred)
    - Excellent command of spoken and written skills in Mandarin and English to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
    - Solid experience in ESG strategic planning and establishing the work procedures of the Department, and experience in ERP as well;
    - Good leadership with business acumen analytical mindset, initiative and result oriented;

    (Advantageous)
    - Prior experience in the manufacturing industry, or a related field
    - Posses strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
    - Willing to travel to China as occasional travel is required.
