    Our client, a top-ranking contact solutions company recognized by leading semiconductor manufacturers worldwide, is seeking a Senior Design Engineer specializing in IC sockets for semiconductors. This role reports directly to the Senior Engineering Manager.

    【 What you will be doing 】
    - Designing the IC sockets for Semiconductor
    - Analyse the necessary to design
    - Check Measured IC socket and components report
    - Check drawings based on NBO/NTO using CAD
    - Check Measurement results locally made parts and customer's packages
    - Verify the customer's package drawing to the existing socket drawing
    - Liaising with colleagues and clients Products' design and development
    - Working with global engineering team members where you will be assigned
    - Provide technical support for Sales as needed
    - Provide technical support to customers through phone, email and on-site work

    【Other Responsibilities】
    - Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Management
    - Report all irregular issues and problems to supervisor for resolution
    - Plan, prepare and give presentations to customers, trade shows, meetings etc.
    - Develop new business with own speciality knowledge and experience

Qualifications

    【 What they are looking for 】

    <Must>
    - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Sciences from a four-year college/university or equivalent education and experience
    - Minimum of 3 years of experience in IC SOCKET or Connector design
    - Proficiency in designing and using machining, stamping, and injection moulding parts
    - Experience with SolidWorks for 3D design and 2D drawing creation
    - Strong product problem analysis and project management skills

    <Advantageous>
    - Thermal simulation experience (SolidWorks) is preferred but not essential
    - High-frequency electromagnetic structure simulation experience (Ansys HFSS) is an added advantage
    - Managerial experience is beneficial but not mandatory
