    Our Client is a Hong Kong Fund Management Company. The role of a Translator (Japanese Speaking) is to responsible for Japanese / English, or Japanese / Mandarin translation during meetings.

    You will be reporting to CIO.

    【 What you will be doing 】
    - Translate calls/meetings with Japanese corporate companies
    - Schedule calls/meetings with Japanese corporate professionally, about 100 meetings per quarter
    - Handle both the translation and the scheduling jobs, without compromising the quality of the work
    - Travel to Japan every quarter and translate during face-to-face meetings with Japanese corporate, one or two weeks long per trip.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【 What they are looking for 】
    - Minimum 1 year of translation experience.
    - Excellent command of English / Mandarin and Japanese JLPT N1 as this role requires translating business meetings with Japanese clients from English / Mandarin to Japanese and vice versa.
    - The ability to grasp new concepts quickly, e.g. technical terms
    - Familiar with Microsoft office software
    - Time-management and project-management skills
    - Ability to work under pressure
    - Possess the following qualities: inquisitive, proactive, responsive, and responsible
    - Experience working in Finance space is a plus
