Our client, a leading chemical manufacturing company, is seeking an Executive/Senior Group Finance Executive (Japanese Speaking) to join their team. This role involves overseeing financial operations across Singapore and Southeast Asia, with a focus on performance analysis, reporting, and process improvement.You will be reporting to the General Manager, Finance.【What you will be doing】- Prepare and submit budgets, forecasts, and monthly performance reports for the Asia-Pacific business.- Analyze sales, costs, and capital efficiency (e.g., ROIC), and identify and address variances and issues.- Report findings to supervisors and management, and implement improvements.- Provide periodic updates to the head office in Japan.- Oversee financial operations for Singapore and Southeast Asia subsidiaries.- Conduct investment valuations using the Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) method.- Plan cash flow and manage transfer pricing.- Lead and train the finance team, and handle external inquiries (e.g., auditors, banks).- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and lead initiatives for process improvement.- Address ad hoc financial tasks as required.
