Our client, a Japanese IT consulting firm, is seeking a Business Analyst, Trade Finance (Japanese Speaking) to manage a banking project.【 Responsibilities 】1) Analysis, Communication and Issue Resolution:- Perform an in-depth analysis to outline the current (As-Is) workflow for branches, identify challenges, and design the future (To-Be) model. Create comprehensive documentation and diagrams for the Transaction Banking departments at both the Head Office and Regional Head Office to support discussions and build consensus.- Collaborate with stakeholders from various functions (e.g., branch operations, systems, front office, Head Office, and other client teams). Lead discussions to draw well-informed conclusions and agreements.- Document and relay the final conclusions and directions to relevant parties, addressing and responding to their inquiries and feedback.2) User Tasks in System Implementation:- Plan and carry out tasks related to the deployment of both existing and new Trade Finance IT systems.- Collect user requirements through interactions with branches, quickly draft discussion papers, and evaluate the direction for future workflows and system specifications.- Create a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plan, coordinate with stakeholders, and finalize the test plan for the entire region or branch. Review detailed test cases developed by branches and offer constructive feedback.- Oversee the UAT process, address any issues that emerge, analyze problems, and work with relevant parties to resolve them.- Provide updates on UAT progress and issues to project team members and management.- Support activities related to System Go-Live, offer Post-Go-Live assistance and help in creating materials for customer onboarding.
